China? Switzerland? What's Next? So we'll be moving to Switzerland some time... Our actual moving date is unclear. We will be finalizing the adoption in the United States before we move. What we are currently hearing from adoption agencies is that we should be prepared to wait up to a year from our DTC date (June 7th for us) for a referral. Parents were waiting an average of 6 months for a referral from China when we started the process. Imagine? If that were still the case we would be traveling to China to meet our baby this month! Rene starts working in Switzerland this March. He will be staying there for the month of March and will hopefully return for the month of April. After that... mmhm... we'll be playing it by ear. We have sold 2 cars in the last two weeks. We have gone from a 3 car household to a one car household just like that.
