Today I traveled to Bern to pick up our Chinese Visas from the Chinese Consulate! Woo hoo. I can't believe we will be leaving in just 9 days! And we will be Mommy and Daddy in just 13 days.... Wow!
Here is our insane itinerary for anyone who is interested (or just curious):
Nov. 9 Zurich to Atlanta
Nov. 11 Atlanta to Beijing (one stop in Chicago)
Nov. 12 Arrive Beijing, Peace Novotel Hotel
Nov. 13 GOTCHA DAY!
Fly to Chongquing 8:25 a.m. Go to Civil Affairs Office to meet Fu Xi.
Complete adoption registration, notarization and passport application.
Nov. 14-16 Wait for adoption documents. Sight-seeing in Chongqing.
Nov. 17 Pick up baby's passport.
Fly to Guangzhou. White Swan Hotel.
Nov. 18 Medical Exam for Fu Xi
Nov. 19 Sight seeing
Nov. 20 Visa interview at Consulate
Nov. 21 Take Oath and receive Visa at Consulate
Fly to Beijing
Nov. 22 Free day in Beijing
Nov. 23 Leave Beijing for SF
Arrive SF by 9 a.m. Happy Thanksgiving!
Nov. 24 Fly to Atlanta
Nov. 24-30 Apply for US passport, run errands, enjoy family
Dec. 2 Fly to Zurich
Wow. Are we packing it in or what? Did I mention that we will be meeting our baby for the first time... EVER? We will be fried... but happy.

WOW GUYS!! You two are going to be super busy for the month of November, but I cannot think of a better way for you guys to spend your time! All of us at the Greaves household are very excited for you. We cannot wait to meet her, and know that you guys cannot wait. Congratulations again!
