Hello My name is Lili. Some call me lilieloisch or lilu or bug. Let me tell you about my weekend.

It started when daddy returned from China on Sunday. He arrived in the afternoon and interrupted my pool day. As you can tell I was having a blast.

Daddy and mommy rushed to have all my things ready... favorite books, snacks, juice and lots of diapers

Daddy had to work in a Germany on Monday in a town called Speyer, close to the Rhein River. This is a very old town and in Medieval times was the center of Europe. We stayed in an old hotel in the heart of Speyer. Key touristy words that were spewed my direction: Kaiserdom St Maria, largest Romaneque building in Germany, Haptsburg, and Snack. I was really interested in Snack.

Dad worked all day on Monday and I had mom to myself. We walked around the town and I tried to convince her to buy me lots of stuff. I did not get everything I wanted but I did get a new favorite book - Gut Nacht Gorilla, by Nancy Rathman. And since German is in my third language I love listening mom and dad muddle through the German words. Quick quiz... what is Guertletier?

On Tuesday we took a quick roadtrip to Heidelberg. Daddy and Mommy need to understand that the solitary constraint with a fixed rigid back called a car 'seat' is for the birds.

Heidelberg was a nice little town. The town was busy and had an old town feel. However one of the best parts was the crepes with Nutella chocolate. Gee I like traveling with daddy.

Daddy and I played up and down the city streets. There were lots of parks and fountains that make European cities fun for me.



Hey eating those rich crepes might not have been such a good idea after all.
